MAMUS is a new generation creative agency that is creatively religious and media agnostic.

MAMUS is formed around the creative vision of John Mamus. Founded as OSNOVA in September 2007, and renamed MAMUS in January 2009 in New York.

Before John Mamus founded the agency, he was Creative Director for Global Communications at FILA where he worked on repositioning and repositioning the brand globally. All brand touchpoints were either designed or directed by Mamus — from hangtags and packaging to advertising and websites. The “l’arte nello sport” (art of sport) campaign was run in all markets across the globe and transcended cultural and linguistic barriers with emotive imagery and smart composition.

Previous to his work at FILA, Mamus was co-director and founder of Merkley+Partners interactive and design group — MerkleyID — where he helped launch jetBlue Airways. He has also had director level positions in New York City über agencies Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy and Deutsch.
